Eydil ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of BBN Inc., based in National Harbor, MD. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use eydil.com and the Eydil Lens Chrome extension.
1. Information We Collect
Email address. When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address to send you product updates, early access invitations, and important announcements.
Referral data. We generate a unique referral code tied to your email address to track waitlist referrals. This code is used solely to manage queue position.
Extension usage data. The Eydil Lens Chrome extension reads product prices from supported retail pages solely to calculate and display future wealth projections. This data is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.
Affiliate click data. When you click through to a retail partner via the Eydil Lens, standard affiliate tracking cookies may be set by the retailer's affiliate network. We do not control the data practices of third-party affiliate networks.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send you waitlist updates and early access notifications
- To manage your queue position and referral rewards
- To understand how users interact with eydil.com via anonymous analytics
- To earn affiliate commissions that fund Eydil's development
3. What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your email address or personal information to third parties
- We do not store your browsing history or shopping behavior on our servers
- We do not access your financial accounts or banking information at this stage
- We do not send spam — you can unsubscribe from any email at any time
4. The Eydil Lens Chrome Extension
The Eydil Lens extension operates primarily on your local device. It reads product page content to calculate cashback projections. It does not capture or transmit your browsing history, purchase history, or any personally identifiable information beyond what you voluntarily submit.
The extension uses Chrome's local storage to remember your waitlist status and queue position between browser sessions. This data stays on your device.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We may use Google Analytics or similar tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns on eydil.com. This data is anonymized and used only to improve the product. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google's opt-out tools.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your email address is stored securely with our email service provider. We do not store payment information — Eydil does not currently process payments.
7. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@eydil.com. We will remove your email from our list and delete any associated referral data within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Eydil evolves. We will notify waitlist members of significant changes via email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
